More than 500 influential leaders within Atlanta’s social and corporate communities will gather for an elegant evening and exquisite food at this signature black-tie evening that raises over $1 million. The Hope Ball will help support the Society’s vision to end cancer as we know, for everyone!
Whether we’re working in a community near you or one halfway around the world, our mission remains the same:
to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
The 2024 Hope Ball Mission appeal will support the Atlanta Hope Lodge. When treatment is far from home, our Hope Lodge communities provide free, temporary lodging for thousands of people facing cancer and their caregivers.
As Executive Champions of the American Cancer Society for over 21 years, Delta Air Lines is proud to partner with the American Cancer Society‘s Hope Ball and is committed to support the critical vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone!
LeadershipAmerican Cancer Society Hope Lodge® communities offer a home away from home for people facing cancer and their caregivers when cancer treatment is far away. Our 30+ Hope Lodge communities provide a free place to stay during treatment so people with cancer can focus on getting better. These communities provide comfortable guest suites with private baths, as well as inviting spaces with all the comforts of home, including a communal kitchen, dining area, laundry rooms, and places to gather or find a quiet respite – all at no cost to guests.
Hope Lodge guests don’t just find a place to stay – they find a community of support and an emotional connection with others facing the same journey.
