Learning that you or someone you love has cancer is terrifying, but the upside in scary situations is that there is always hope. That hope might start off small, like a single light in the darkness, but with time, love, and tenacity, that flicker can grow. One light becomes two, and two lights become four, slowly growing and gaining strength. Before you know it, that little light of hope has grown so strong that it overpowers the fear and uncertainty, and the only thing left is a bright future.
AT THE HOPE BALL, WE’LL CELEBRATE THE MOMENTUM GENERATED BY COMPOUNDING RESEARCH ADVANCES, THE FUNDS THAT MAKE THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER POSSIBLE, AND THE HOPE THAT ALLOWS PATIENTS TO GROW EVER STRONGER.
CNN International anchor Natalie Allen will emcee the experience for the second straight year. Together, we’ll share inspiring stories of those beacons of hope who are working, giving, and caring every day, all in the name of brighter futures. We’ll enjoy the uplifting sounds of hope, thanks to dynamic live performances throughout the evening, including music from Joe Gransden. We’ll fund the future with a silent auction, live auction, and can’t-miss mission moment, where all the light shines on a single end goal: raising money to fight pediatric cancer. And we’ll spread the light of hope well beyond the event’s four walls. All Hope Ball attendees will leave with “Hope” bracelets – designed to be worn while you need hope and passed along when you find someone who could use it even more. We believe hope belongs with those who need it most.
